EDWARD C. STONE

On the evening of Thursday March 14, 2024, former canton resident Edward C. Stone passed away at his residence in Rome Pa., after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 91 years of age. Born February 17, 1933 in Canton he was the son of Dana R and Bessie (Carl) Stone. Edward made a career of the United States Navy, serving our country from 1957 to 1977,.

He is survived by four children; Carletta Stone, Steven Stone, Michael Stone and James Stone, 9 grandchildren 19 great-grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. In addition to his parents Edward was preceded in death by a son, Charles Stone and great-great-grandson Aidan James Shepard

In keeping with Edward's wishes services and interment are private. Professional services entrusted to Morse and Kleese, Canton.
